. . . friends. . .

friends ::sigh:: they are hard to find, more hard to leave, and the most hard to forget.

They are the scary looking ones that protect you and reject the guys for you.
1. Fight for and with them

They are the ones that are the most honest with you.
2. Be honest with them. Honesty is everything.

They always dress crazy with you so you won't look stupid alone.
3. Be there for them when they need you or just when they're alone. So that they won't be and neither will you.

They are the ones that drive you crazy with drama and your just compelled to help.
4. Help them then drive them crazy with all your drama.

They are the crazy ones that are really and truly psycho but your just as psycho.
5. Accept them for who they are, hands down no questions asked.

They are the ones that comfort you when you have a break up and convince you that the guy is scum and it was good that you broke up with them first.
6. Comfort and cheer them up. Help them get over anything.

They are the ones that look up to you or you look up to them.
7. Be a good friend and not a bad influence. You shouldn't pressure them to do anything they clearly don't want to do.

They are the ones that come to you mad and jealous over a girl/boy they think is a danger to their relationship. And you go to them likewise.
8. DON'T flirt with your friend's boy/girlfriend.

They are your family. Even though you hate hem sometimes, you know you can count on them.
9. Love them. Cherish them. Care for them.

And last but not least. They are your sanity. A cure from the horrible world and beyond.
10. DON'T LOSE THEM.
. . . social networking. . . is it really that serious<(?-?)>
ok, so lets say you go out with this guy right, and he got you pregnant. now this same guy is on Facebook and someone you know posts a love letter saying "I am in love with you. I am tired of being your every blue moon *@$#%$." what would you do? how would you react?
i'm sure you just want to beat that someone down, right? now i'm not saying thats everyone but in this case thats the deal.
at a Clayton county school, two teachers fought, and when i say fought i mean hair pulling, nail scratching, punching, slapping and all that good stuff fought, over a male teacher that also works at the school.
honestly, i'm not all that shocked that that could and would happen. i'm shocked i didn't hear or read anything about the male teacher and what he had to say about this. but that's besides the point.
it really isn't that serious to where you have to take something as personal as that and bring it to school with a classroom full of middle schoolers.
i say what happens on/in a social network at home should stay on/in in social network at home. and i also say that all social networks shouldn't be blamed for their stupid mistake.
like a very wise teacher said just the other day, "there is nothing wrong with social networking, it's what people do with it that make it wrong." well however she said it, thats what she meant. i think, again besides the point.
the point is IT REALLY ISN'T THAT SERIOUS!
social networking does have some really good points to it, like...
  • it helps you to keep connected with people from all around the world and with your friends just around the corner and such
  • it can help you promote a business/ career
  • sometimes it gives you something to do, i guess
  • and last but not least you can stay in touch with this ever changing world and help you to develop a more open mind, internationally (if that sounds right)  ::sarcasm, i think:: well if you let it
social networking is highest among teens ages 14-18 so i guess i see where people get the idea about it being "bad" i guess. teens like to, for some stupid reason, post things that really should be posted or is anyone elses business, and then get upset and ready to fight when someone says something about it. come on, really now, if you didn't want people to know, why did you post it? can you answer that one? i didn't think so.
unfortunately, i too, have a facebook, myspace, bebo, black planet, tagged, and all those other ones, but as i know now, i really don't give a hoot. i couldn't care less about them. i don't even remember the last time i checked any of those. LOL!
to me, it's just become a problem and a problem i, quite frankly, feel i don't need. but hey, thats just me.
    teens? pregnant?
Yes, of course teens are pregnant. Each and every year, more teens are. Approximately one-third of young women in the United States become pregnant during their teens. Crazy? Yea, I know. I’m starting to think it’s a trendy new fad. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want a little cute crying baby to take care of? It’s the new thing; all the cool kids are doing it, why not?

But the thing is, when you’re a teen and you get pregnant, there are a lot of things you don’t take into consideration. For example, how are you going to finish school? Is the father going to be involved in your child’s life? How are you planning to support this new child? These little breathing crying bundles we call babies, need food, love, clothes and other stuffs I’m sure teen mothers don’t usually think about.

Now I’m not saying that all teen pregnancies are intended because most of them aren’t and the only way to prevent that is to use protection! They don’t make two different types of condoms and birth control pills for nothing.

A lot of people say when a teen gets pregnant it’s usually the females fault. I don’t necessarily believe this because it takes two to make a child. The ladies shouldn’t be blamed for everything. Both people should know better and what they are getting themselves into when they have sex. Just because it’s legal to have sex at sixteen doesn’t mean you absolutely have to have sex at sixteen. And you shouldn’t let anyone talk you into anything you don’t think you’re ready for.

The point to this whole entire thing is: DON’T DO ANYTHING YOUR NOT READY FOR! TEENS YOU’RE YOUNG AND FREE, LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU! YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT CHILDREN IN YOUR TEENAGE YEARS! JUST DON’T DO IT! ! !

once upon a time in naomi world... yay! ! !
action. adventure. romance. suspense. paranormal activities. not this time, but trust me-you DON"T want to know about those. no, this time, once upon a time, in the once magical wonderful place, Soul Kiss, Lloyd came to my parents store.(Which, unfortunately, they don't have anymore ::sniff sniff::) But we did meet Lloyd there. Me da also met other people like, Jessica Simpson and John Meyer*sp*, Common, Ceelow Green, and this guy named Taylor Crieg. While I've only met Lloyd it was still very fun.

Trina, a co-worker, my older sister, and me with Lloyd Jan. 5, 2005 at Soul Kiss.

My little brother and Lloyd's older brother played chess. I can't remember who won.

    teen suicide.
Historically, various states listed the act as a felony, but all were reluctant to enforce it. By 1963, six states still considered attempted suicide a crime (North and South Dakota, Washington, New Jersey, Nevada, and Oklahoma that repealed its law in 1976). By the early 1990s only two US states still listed suicide as a crime, and these have since removed that classification. In some U.S. states, suicide is still considered an unwritten "common law crime," as stated in Blackstone's Commentaries. As a common law crime, suicide can bar recovery for the family of the suicidal person in a lawsuit unless the suicidal person can be proven to have been "of unsound mind." That is, the suicide must be proven to have been an involuntary, not voluntary, act of the victim in order for the family to be awarded money damages by the court. This can occur when the family of the deceased sues the caregiver (perhaps a jail or hospital) for negligence in failing to provide appropriate care. Some legal scholars look at the issue as one of personal liberty. According to Nadine Strossen, former President of the ACLU, "The idea of government making determinations about how you end your life, forcing you...could be considered cruel and unusual punishment in certain circumstances, and Justice Stevens in a very interesting opinion in a right-to-die raised the analogy. The rate of teenage suicide in the United States remains comparatively high in the 15 to 24 age group with 3,971 suicides in 2001 and over 132,000 suicide attempts in 2002, making it the third leading cause of death for those aged 15 to 24.

Teen Suicide. The first thing that normally comes to your mind when you hear or read about something like this would be, "Why?" And then you'd probably call them stupid, but something people have to realize is that everyone is not the same. Everyone is not treated the same. Everyone doesn't feel the same. Everyone doesn't go through the same things you might go to or handle it the same for that matter. So for you to call or say that something is stupid is closed-minded and unfair. You have to understand the circumstances that those people go through. Most causes of teen suicide are: disharmony in the family, unhealthy or abusive relationship or break-up, alcohol or drug abuse, feelings of anger and guilt, physical or mental disorders, poor academic performance, sibling rivalry, history of suicide within close circle, experience of a personal loss, peer pressure, and the inability to handle hardships due to low energy and depression.

People think that depression and suicidal thoughts can be cured by using "happy pills" and/or counseling, which is not always or necessarily the case because you can’t cure it unless you get over or solve your reasons of being depressed, not covering it up with pills and counseling.

I can’t believe attempted suicide used to result in a felony. I believe in natural rights, which should include that you belong to yourself, your body and mind. I believe it’s not right for the government to make laws that restrict you from doing what you want with your life. So I’m glad that most states didn’t enforce it. And I agree with Nadine Strossen.

In my opinion, the rate of suicide has been increasing because of several factors. Have you turned on the T.V? Listened to the radio? Heard the gossip going around school, going around anywhere? Have you surfed the internet? Society today, I think, is just pressure on teens. Pressure but in a way people don’t sometimes see. For example, I know you guys have seen this before, another student in your school isn’t “up to date” on the latest fashion or he/she can’t afford it, or that student isn’t really skinny, or that student wears glasses, and he/her classmates are talking about them, verbally abusing them(calling them names among other things), and just brutally “bashing” them. How do you think he/she feels? Do you ever stop them from continuing? Or do you just laugh and watch from the side lines? I know your probably saying, “No, I tell them to stop.” Or “I wouldn’t do that.” But be serious. Though you may be saying that, you know you have. And this person being “bashed” just feels horrible. I know because I used to be that person. And because of that I now have low self-esteem and confidence, and I used to be suicidal. It’s just the pressure of wanting to fit in, to be cool, or whatever. It’s like it’s somehow programmed into others brain that tells them that you have to be this way or that way to be pretty or beautiful or handsome and when you don’t fit in to that, people tend to notice whether it be in a good way or not. Teen suicide is the result to that. And I really dislike for people to say something is stupid because they don’t understand it and they don’t take the time to actually understand it.

    ..... a guy
    once there was a guy
almost the only one to capture my heart
(only two have succeeded thus far)
he was Very sweet and there was just something about him i couldn’t resist
but Although he stole my heart, it must beat without him
Lately i’ve been wondering, maybe it could be him
    i used to see Everything
but i Never see him anymore
atleast not like the other Times
I feel as though maybe he’s still here
just wondering through the Night as he used to
    or maybe he’s just Everywhere
    not limited to one place
    but all of them
    i can’t tell anymore
so confusing he is, as he always was
    the courage i never had
since i was posting old posts i decided to add this one. i cant remember when i wrote this one, i just remember it was in the middle of the night an i woke and had a strong urge to write and thankfully i sleep with a journal next to my bed... lol... but i had lost it for the longest time...

    The Courage I Never Had
I never thought I’d have the courage to say
I love you to my crushes face
always staring into the glare of your eye
    wondering what caught your eye

I never thought I’d have the courage to say
    I was done with you
done with all the lies you told
done with my heart you stole

I never thought I had the love to give
to such a person who hated to live
a person who was afraid of life
    and what it could do

you would and could have took your life away
but I stood and told you not to give away

you told me you loved me
    I thought that was true
then I saw what your kind of love could do
you took my love and my life

now your life is gone as well
I hope you go down to hell
you told me you'll never hurt me
I thought that was true too
and I believed you like a fool

now I’m here in this bright place
hearing voices as I moved from place to place
I don’t know why, but I feel home
I feel the love you once gave
I feel the love I want to give
I feel the thrive to go on
I feel the courage to love you again

I feel the courage I never had

lol... i can't rhyme... and i know its kind of cheasy but remember i woke up in the middle of the night, and thats just what makes it awesome... lol...
    what i think love is...
i saw that Sha'Ron had put a post about love an it remined me of a post that i did 2 summers ago-june10 to be exact- and put on my myspace-which i abandoned, lol.

love is when you miss him before he's gone
when you crave to hear his voice when your away
when you can't think of anything else but him
when your with him nothing else matters
when you talk to him you feel you can tell him any and everything
you feel like he's your world and your the luckiest one in it
and when you lose him you dont want to let go
you want to hold on to what little of him you have left
you think that even tough your apart that he stll loves you
but you don't know why he would cause you such pain
you never want to let im go
even though he broke your ♥
    my chonney rules the world
Lol... Ok, so I'm on the computer this one day right, and one of my freinds IM me and we talk for a minute. Then she's all, "Hey, Naomi you gotta check out these videos, the guy is like so cute and has the cutest accent." And then I'm all like, "Ok sure, what the heck? Why not?" And then she sends me a youtube link. And then I click on it. But this isn't the vid that she sent me, I thought it had at least something to do with blogging... So... yup...

I just love him, he's oober funny and cute... Lol... and has the cutest accent... You should check out his youtube channel My Chonney
He has over 100,000 subscibers and has captured he heart of mayny people, guys included... lol... Oh yea, he's in Australia, thats why is accet is awesome... Lol...

    me and my gypsy parents

Lol, I think genes are an awesome thing when it comes to my parents. I think they are so cool and laid back, plus they're gypsies... meaning they dont like to be tied down to one place-if you didn't know. My dad was a skater and my mom was pretty much almost like me-wears alot of black and ws a skate betty.. lol.. but when she was forced to do beauty pageants she'd be the only one wearing a black dress... lol.. she's cool. she's filipino, if your wondering and my dad is african-american. so i guess i get the way i dress from them and of course my looks, everyone says i look just like my mums... i'm free flowy, down to earth, a romanticist*sp*, realist, and optimistic... sometimes.. lol.. i dont like to be trapped or restricted or stuck in one place, just like my parents-except i dont think they're romanticists*sp*... i've moved about 5 times in the last six, seven, eight years maybe.. and i'm about to move again so you probably wont see me next semester, but who knows.. anything can happen... and i love adventure and going to new places, but i dont know about meeting new people-that one i'm not good at... im too timid and shy.. until i warm up to you, of course. my parents used to own a store in little 5 points called Soul Kiss, i loved that store to death. they had imported goods fom morocco, india, asia, africa... all over the world... but unfortunately, the economy when down and we hd to give it up, it is now criminal records... but now they do it gypsy style... lol
    japanese music... yay!! (not sarcasm)
duel jewel Pictures, Images and Photos

Japanese music... ahh... Where do I start? Well, I love it for one. It not always the same ole same ole stuff. Even though I don't know what they're saying its still fun to just listen to and jump around too, which I do more than I'd like to admit. And the guys are so cute its ridiculous, lol. I think that when you listen to different types of music it helps you to develope a better, more diverse personality because your not always listening to the same thing over and over again, because quite frankly, it gets kind of boring-well to me at least.

    Would You?
If you couldn't handle it anymore, would you quit? If you were too stressed you felt everything was just not going the right way, would you stop? If you really truely loved that person, would you do it to them? If you felt you had no other choice but too, would you do it? If you knew it was going to tear them apart, but you still felt it had to be done, would you still do it? If you got to the point to where nothing was going your way, you felt trapped, suffocated, controlled and you couldn't cry but it hurt so much and you felt the only way to alleviate the pain was to hurt yourslf, would you continue? When the world that you tried so hard to hold up was crumbling down before you and it was all your fault, what would you do? You don't want to hurt the person you thought you loved, you don't want to keep living in pain, you don't want to keep hurting yourself, but in the end, its all your fault when you end up doing all three.
    Introductions... Yay!! (Sarcasm)
Ok... Lets see... I'm a junior at Stephenson High School. I love anime and the Japanese culture. I hope to one day become a translator/ pediatritian/ vet/ marine biologist/ lawyer/ realestate agent/ better speller/ author/ photographer/ architect/ and graphic designer. Lol, I want to be alot. Hm... I like to teach myself things alot of people normally wouldn't. Like, writing backward-which I'm actually pretty good at now, palm reading, learning more than 3 languages at a time- I'm taking a Latin class, teaching myself Japanese and picking up on some Spanish, writing with my left hand and trying to learn calligraphy. Oh, and I'm also teaching myself how to play the piano. I'm African-American, Filipino, and Spanish. I have 3 birds, 1 lizard, a dog, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My parents are Musilm and want me to be but they don't know that I'm not. Actually I can' say I even have a religion. I, what Troy likes to say, believe in everything but nothing at all. I have part of every religion, at last I think.... What else is there to say? I like black-alot. People like to call me wierd and look at me retarded because I don't dress like them but in actualit they know they wish they can dress and act like me and pull it off. Ok.. I think I'm done for now... Any questins?
